Anyone else have problems using iChat with facebook chat? (Jabber)

I have recently decided to try iChat out with Facebook chat through jabber. However, some messages aren't being delivered my end at all! is this a problem with jabber or ichat itself?

I am using iChat on Lion and have my facebook account as a jabber account and it is always telling me people logged out when they're actually online. And it tells them that i've logged off when i'm still online and its beginning to get annoying. It is making me just have facebook actually open and chat on that.
