anyone else have problems with sporadic notifications?

I love my watch but its starting to piss me off a little bit because it misses notifications. For example, my phone knows that my watch is connected, so I get a new email and it doesn't vibrate. I still get a notification on the lock screen of my phone about it, but my watch never taps me, and doesn't bring up an icon for there being a notification, and only when I click on the mail app on the watch does it show my message that it never notified me about. Any possible solutions to this? Sometimes it works properly and other times it doesn't. Usually email is the culprit not other notifications.

Yes I have experienced this. Not just email, but text messages also.

About all you can do is un-pair and then re-pair your watch to your phone and see if that helps.
