Is this normal? I had a black 3G, so maybe it was less apparent. Are they all like this or should I get another?

If trying to push it in doesn't work, the SIM card might be in a little cockeyed. So eject, reseat the SIM and reinsert and see if that fixes it.

it just looks like your tray isn't pushed all the way in.

That's what it feels like, but it doesn't want to get in any further :( I think it happened after I switched my sim cards, I would have noticed this when I took it out of the box earlier.

remove the tray, re-seat your sim card.

mine has space too. didnt touch the sim....oh well not too worried about it

All reservations at the Genius Bar are booked, REALLY? I think I'm just going to go in and see what they say.

seriously op?

Yeah, seriously. It doesn't look right and that's just asking for dust to get in.

I would NOT have noticed this if it wasn't for you- so F YOU.

*Takes trip to Apple store tomorrow*

LOL, if it's the same way on all of our phones then it's probably normal. My 3G doesn't have this issue though.

Swapped trays with my other phone and it looks like it's the phone, not the tray.
