I'm hearing a moderate "click" or "pop" noise when I raise my wrist and the screen comes on. It's not all the time, only when the watch screen has been idle for at least a minute or so. It's consistent though, and definitely there. I have it silenced, I'm not getting any haptic feedback when this happens (I shouldn't), I just hear the pop. I've searched and don't see anyone else with the same issue. I've done all kinds of restarts, no difference. Watch works great otherwise.

Yes - I created a thread here https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1873050/

seems like a pretty rare issue - Applecare are kindly replacing my watch.

Cool, thanks for the info. Looks like it's relatively widespread. I have no doubt Apple will replace the watch, I just wonder with supply if I'll get it soon. Have you gotten your replacement yet? I would assume it's not a refurb as I doubt there are many if any refurbs available yet.

Maybe the battery adhesive has come loose. iFixit stated it was held in with just a tiny amount.
