After getting my iPhone 3G (16 GB White) I was picking up perfect 3G service (all the places around here have the coverage) However, if I leave the phone sitting for awhile or switch to edge I will make the attempt to switch back on the 3G and it goes right to "no service". I have let it sit to see if it will pick up the signal, but it refuses. I have had to restart the phone about 3 times a day when it does this and right when it turns back on it has full 3G service again. It also does not want to pull back up to 3G if it has been in edge. I went the other day to get my SIM card switched out, but it has still not changed anything. I went by the Apple store and the one of the sales reps looked at it real quick because the genius bar was full and tried switch on the airplane mode, but when switching back it would stay stuck on searching. After he would restart the phone, full service would be available again. I have set up an appointment for Friday, but was curious if anyone else has come across this problem and found a way to fix it or if it is just an internal antenna issue. Thanks
