After upgrading to 10.7.2 on my MBP, it seems I am getting the old 10.4 blue ball (haha?) instead of the beach ball the majority of the time...especially notice it while in Safari. Any way to fix it? Haven't seen anyone else mention this.

I updated my wife's MB to 10.7.2 and didn't notice the issue in the short time I was on there setting up her iCloud stuff.

Separate problem I was having was the 'Guest Login' icon on my list of users when starting up the computer, but saw there was a reason for that. Seems it appears (even though it is disabled in System Preferences) because Find My Mac is on. Guess I'll be turning that off...

Yea I've seen the blue ball too.

But only when I move the pointer over a button that has to "wait 5 seconds to confirm you're human" or whatever they say. And as soon as the 5 seconds have passed it goes away and I can click on it.

No lags or anything and I've been using it for a few hours now.
