Anyone else having issues with Bose Bluetooth speakers' Play/Pause button and iOS 11?

Since I updated the iPhone and iPad to iOS 11 my Bose Soundlink II Mini does not work as before.

The Play/Pause multifunction button does work properly. In some apps like YouTube it will pause when pressed but it will not play anymore, while in other apps like AirVideoHD it will play but will not pause when pressed.

This happens only in 3rd party apps, Play/Pause works fine in the Videos app.
