Anyone else like the 2016 revised arrow keys? Why did they change them back?

I use a magic keyboard at my desk. I prefer the more traditional inverted T arrows.

It's not only about the look. Inverted T is more practical (at least for me).
I use that space above the left/right arrows not only to blindly find the arrows keys but also to rest my fingers when I have to use only arrows keys for quite some time.

Read somewhere that programmers requested the keys back to the inverted T, so they can get there by feel and not look down. The bigger left and right keys make it harder to know where your hand is without looking.

I prefer full size arrow keys, the 2016 layout looked like a nice middle ground. I've seen a few laptops that move the arrow keys down to have them all full size.

Lol there's two threads on the front page complaining about the new keyboard being uglier than the previous iteration. Do people really care about that over its funcionality?
Having more surface area is functionality. Also, the arrow keys should be perpendicular to each other, not flush to the bottom.
Arrow keys should not be bottom-left and bottom-right. It should be left and right.
