I have a long habit of holding down on it as I'm finishing reading/looking at something, I'll press it thinking I want to go back and then not release bc something caught my eye or just to be one step ahead.

Just realized it does that, kinda like it. Although today after a year and half i turned my 4s and nticed how much i missed the last IOS

Yeah, same. What do you miss specifically?

That was there in iOS 6.

Thanks, i like it.

Sounds like you might need to adjust your habit. After all not all habits are good.

I like that now in iOS 7….On most web pages you can simple swipe back versus holding the back arrow. Can't do that in iOS 6

x2 this hold down back feature was in iOS6

I find the list of previous pages that show up when you hold the back button very useful, especially when doing something like searching for reviews and you want to get back to the search page after reading a few pages of a review. Have to admit I've only recently realised you could swipe back to the previous page, very useful!

Anyone else not like how when you hold down on "back" in Safari now it shows ...

I actually like this feature and I've never accidentally triggered it. I kind of found it purposely on accident when not wanting to hit back 10 times on a webpage. Like on certain browsers I kind of expected it to do what it does.

After reading several of TH55's threads, I've come to the conclusion he just dislikes any change regardless of whether it's good or bad.
