For months a family member was experiencing 'no service' issues whereby the phone would not pick up a signal again until rebooted.

A replacement phone AND replacement sim with a new number still didnt resolve the issue.

A google search brought up many iPhone users around the world on different networks all with the exact same issue.

Then one day out of the blue it just stopped for us and never happened again! Have Apple silently fixed something? Anyone else still getting it?

Sounds like a service provider issue, not something on Apple's end. And yes, I do get "no service" from time to time in areas where I should have a signal.
