I chose the electric orange ones and am in the UK. Seems to be specific to the black ones and the orange ones. Really hope it comes much sooner!

When did you order? I ordered the black just after they went live at 3pm and they’re coming tomorrow.

You can check delivery date before ordering.

thanks! I'm aware - i waited a full day though. I have the airpods pro 2 and I have some bose quietcomfort earbuds which are great in the office so I figured that I don't need these. But clearly, I didn't have enough will power not to wait longer. It may be a good thing though as I may decide to cancel by the 7th of March!

but in other countries, (i looked at the US, Canada and France) this issue isn't there. the supply issue on black and orange ones are only in the UK.

Well I'm returning mine as they don't sound as good as my AirPods Pro 2. Very harsh sounding to me so will stick to the AirPods.

how did they feel compared to the airpods for running? did you try them for that? i love my APP2 but they "thump" a bit when I run. basically the silicone tips moving up and down.

My APP2 are ok. I use Comply tips they loosen a bit, but haven't fallen out.
I did find them slip when sweaty with the original tips though.

Didn't try using the PBP2 in anger but they felt like they were NEVER going to come out on their own.
If the locked in fit and physical buttons are your priory I 100% would get them. I just wouldn't use them over the APP2 if just for the sound quality.

I watched the Zollotech review this morning and he seemed to agree on the sound.

I currently use the Beats Fit Pro and the ability to stay in is the main reason I use them. I have some issues with the Beats Fit Pro when I'm really sweaty with them staying in which is why I'm looking at the PBP2. Sound quality is secondary to fit for me as a runner. The main issue that I've always had with OTE styles is that I wear glasses but these are supposedly good with glasses.

Managed to order today for in store pickup, and it seems I had the only pair of the sand colour in the entire store because pickup went straight to March 😄

I find them much better than the PBP 1, smaller hook is nice though I had no complaints with the original, could easily wear those for 9 to 10hrs straight until the batteries died, sound does sound better, voices sound a little crisper and bass is a decent improvement over the PBP 1. So nice having noise cancellation on these and it works very well.

Biggest complaint I had with the original ones was the crappy charging case where one bud may no charge at all if it was not placed perfectly on the pins, really hope this improved but will find out soon enough after a few charges.

The new case is not only much smaller, it's significantly lighter than the original. Without headphones in either, the original case is 108.5g, new case just 68.7g!.

Best of all for me, this was my last product to use lighting, so good riddance to that old cable, never have to use one ever again 🙂

Thanks for the review. I see that you wear glasses from your avatar so your recommendation is more useful to me than others that don't.

I do, never had a problem with the originals getting in my way, and so far these are just as comfortable with glasses. The magnet that pulls the ear buds in to the case is pretty strong, so hopefully the charging issues the originals had should be fixed.

Having seen DC Rainmakers scathing review, I can't believe how the product got out the door.

He was mostly complaining about syncing it and the heart rate sensor.

I'm pretty sure Apple will fix the setup issue quickly. I personally don't care about the HRM as I have it on my watch or chest strap.

Perhaps I misunderstood but the promotional blurb made a big deal about the ability to connect to gym equipment, but if you do you can't listen to music at the same time.

Yup. My experience is that stuff does not connect to gym equipment very well, regardless of what is advertised. If you want to use a specific device with a specific piece of equipment, you need to verify that it works.

I have a Garmin watch and I had to buy a custom electronic device to get it to talk to my Keiser M3i spin bike even though the M3i states that they can send power data via Bluetooth. Well, it can, for specific devices; but not mine.
