Anyone else pick up the new surf blue band?

As the topic says, did anyone else pick up the new sport surf blue band?

I'm in love with it! My type of blue!

Hi. Just picked up a 44mm series five for my wife and bought the additional band surf blue. It looks very nice with the rose gold.
 
I like the look of it but am hoping the'll do more of a solid Cerulean Blue at some point. The Surf Blue, probably intentionally seems to have a more translucent quality when I've seen it which is the thing that's putting me off.


I'm still absolutely in love with the Lemon Cream one that I got with my S5 but this colour would be awesome. I have high hopes for it as it's in the Watch OS 6 colour pallete for complications.

There was a cerulean sports loop band last summer, which is why it is included in complication colors.

I have the sport loop, it's nice. Wish I had gotten the band instead, tho.
 
Is that blue the same as the 1st gen Apple Watch?

Edit: Nah, seeing it now on the same screen it isn’t the same. Surf is more saturated.

Thanks for this. My girlfriend had thought maybe the Grapefruit was a good option too - but I showed her your photo and Surf Blue it is :)

I also have grapefruit and it’s very pretty. But grapefruit is like a more saturated version of pink sand so if she has pink sand, she may not want grapefruit. Here is a photo of both - grapefruit on the left and pink sand on the right. Personally I think surf blue is the more unique of the two.

Thank you that is helpful... Blue is my choice to match her eyes, and also provide a little contrast with skin colour :)
