I initially had an authorization on my credit card that dropped off before being delivered. I know I should get charged anytime. Anyone else?

I've heard of this before. Most likely due to the crush of orders. The one I read about only went for a day till it was discovered. Remember they placed a hold on the card in advance, that's one of the reasons why, besides making sure there's sufficient funds.

Yeah, I know the first was a pre auth and should charge again anytime. Fun to imagine it was a gift from Tim Cook, ha!

They have up to 30 days to collect payment from the time of authorization (order being placed). I have had this happen to me before (hotels, clubs/lounges, online retailers, etc), and I use to process online orders/capture credit card payments.

Yup same thing happen to me this morning.Except it was with my debit card, I'm not worried, the will find a way to get their money from my account.

That happened to me. Pending charge gone and nothing showing.
I called credit card company who saw the "new charge" dated 4/24. It now shows up.
Kind of wished it was lost in the shuffle but as a Apple stockholder I didn't want them losing money if it was widespread.
