Since the rumors that Apple bought C3 Technologies, I've been itching for a comfirmation.

That is the absolute coolest mapping technology out there and imagine a real image GPS service that is proprietary to iOS? That would be incredible.

It would be something like a Google Street view, except all streets are supported, not just main ones and it is a full GPS service. This map technology obviously could eventually support that, seeing that it already has 360 degree images of every street, house, building and tree in the world (maybe most of the world at least), and that is exciting.

I'm so sick of Google Maps and it's limitations.

EDIT: And the title should be INTRIGUED not INTRIGUES, I guess i can't type.

Very, but I don't expect to see the fruits of their purchase until iOS 6 next year.
I'm definitely not expecting it to come with iOS 5, that's for sure.

It's just a very exciting prospect to think of. I can't wait for next year. Perhaps i'll have forgotten about it and when Steve introduces iOS 6, he'll hit us with it ;)
