I thought my 11 Pro was big enough, and don't love the idea of the screen getting even bigger with the 12 Pro. Plus going to a mini will still be better than the 11 Pro in a few ways so it's not like I'm necessarily getting a worse phone... (5g, higher res display, better low light camera performance, faster processor, thinner, lighter, etc).

Anyone else thinking along the same lines? I guess I'm just a little nervous that i'll find it too small...

It looks like the body of the 12Pro isn’t really that much bigger than that of the 11Pro.

The height difference is 2.7 mm.
The width difference is .1 mm.
The 12 pro is thinner by .7 mm

The 12Pro is heavier than the 11 Pro by 1 gram. So you’re really only going to notice the difference in height. I don’t know how much the almost 3 mm difference will bother you.

The Mini is of course significantly smaller. That’s a tremendous convenience and even a necessity for some people. But there are trade offs in battery life plus whatever else you lose going from the Pro models to the regular ones.

I like the size of the 11 Pro I just don’t like the weight of it. The mini stands out because I do like to use it one handed. I can use the 11 Pro one handed but the weight bothers me. The 12 has a similar size but is much lighter/thinner. My concerns with going to the mini are: smaller width so the keyboard will be smaller and watching or reading content in landscape will be smaller too. I also watch videos on YouTube on my lunch break at work so I’m worried the screen may be too small.

I am going from SE 2020 to the mini while my wife is going from 11 Pro to either the mini or the 12. She got used to the big screen but she hates the heftiness of the pro. In fact the one handed use and the weight on the mini are tempting her to give the mini a shot.

I'm also considering downgrading from 11 Pro 256GB... to the 12 Blue 128GB while on the iUP. That'll reduce my payments by a bit.

My 11 Pro battery is shot at 86%, I only used 64 of 256GB and rarely needed that 3rd camera. I don't need LiDAR or the extra weight of the stainless steel band.
