2 Series 11 watches, both running WatchOS 26.0.2, both with ATT cellular activated.

Problem: I could not make calls from either watch. Both would just say "call failed"

Called ATT.
The agent said he "disconnected and reconnected" each Apple Watch phone # from my ATT account.

This kinda fixed it. From one watch, I now see this before I make a call. The other makes calls like normal.
Anyone else in this situation?
Any suggestions? (does it really have to be this way each time I make a call from the second watch?)

Seems like someone having 2 watches and being able to make calls from either watch would not be a rare use case.

I'm surprised that this isn't easier too. I was thinking that you could unpair and re-pair each watch each day/week/whatever and just "move" the one plan between them. But even then, that's 30 minutes each time(?).

Seems that this should be easier. I don't have two cellular watches but I was considering it and there just didn't seem to be a spectacularly quick and easy way to make it work from my 5 minutes of googling..

@Howard2k, it used to be easier.

I only saw this behavior starting with the Series 11.

Do you have both connected to cellular at the same time, if so that might be your issue. I have 2 AWs both on the same plan but I only ever use one device at a time, both work fine with no issues that you have described.

No. Same as you, I just use 1 watch at a time. The first is charging while I wear the second.

I’ll give it a try - I’m based in Denmark 🇩🇰, so it might be different from carrier to carrier?
Can’t find any info from apple about it 🥴
