I've never used one before but just got a new iPhone 13 and wanted some extra protection. Picked up a 2 pack of amfilm screen protectors and was surprised by how easy it was to apply. So far, I've tested out basic scratches across the screen and there isn't even a dent. Anyone else have a screen protector they swear by? How long has it lasted you?

The amfilm ones have been my go to for years and I’ve put them on every iOS device over the last, oh, 7 years at least. More than once I’ve dropped a device in a way that shattered the amfilm but not the device screen. Hope you get the same mileage out of them! (My iPhone 12 mini was one of these.)

I always have, in one way or another. I use Otterbox Defenders on all my iPhones and they used to come with a built in plastic layer that worked ok but trapped some debris forcing you to disassemble the case and clean up. I think with my 8 I cut out the Otterbox piece and went with a Belkin and since then have had the Apple store install those on all my phones. I really prefer these over the old method.

I am generally careful with my devices but my wife and I both have 1 crack in our Belkin protectors, not bad enough to replace just yet but I'm watching it. I don't know that whatever caused these would have scratched or cracked the phone screen but I'd not like to find out.

IMHO they do not change the feel or responsiveness at all.

Y’all, I use Avalanche Outdoor Supply Co. branded screen protectors for my iPhone. It’s a bit strange that the bubble issue persists slightly after installation, but it will settle down as you put your iPhone in your pockets more frequently. The 3-pack is available for $6 at the store. It comes with a reusable installation ring that ensures a perfect alignment, and the clarity is incredible. 🤩 smooth as silk as I touch my iPhone

I might consider getting a privacy 3-pack screen protector from a different brand once my current ones become dingy or get damaged.

On my previous iPhones (5s, 7 and XR), I used Ailun from Amazon, ProGlass, and Daiso screen protectors. Daiso’s screen protectors also have a full coverage protection for iPhone SE 2 and 3 models with a bezel covering.
