Anyone else's Email Photo Quality Get downgraded?

For some reason my photos have been getting down graded in quality when I send or receive pictures Via email. Never happened with my iPod 4th Generation.
I'll send a high-res photo from MacBook Pro to my iPhone, And the quality downgrades. Never happened before.
Anyone have a solution?

Choose "Actual Size" when you send it?
