hey i just ordered a powermac a couple days ago. it was supposed to ship within 3-5 days. now its not shipping until the 12th! i made some bto changes like different video card, bigger hard drive, and more ram. what could be the cause of this? is it happening to anyone else?

Since they just released new powermacs this is normal. same thing happened to my powerbook when i ordered. it said 3-5 days shipping and next thing i knew it was 7-12. I think from time of order to date of receipt it was about 14-15 days.
I upgraded the video card. that was all it took.

wow thats crazy just because you guys changed one thing? BTY can you upgrade your Videocard on a Laptop from Apple without buying the next computer up?

Apple probably got a lot of orders. They may have run out of a part or the are just behind. As said before, this is very normal after Apple upgrades a line.
