Anyone Encountered Washed Out Contrast in Sierra?

Thus far macOS Sierra has run really great on my 15" 2015 Retina MacBook Pro. However out of the blue today I opened it up and the screen was washed out, like someone turned the Contrast setting all the way. First I thought maybe it was a hardware issue. But I rebooted to El Capitan (Separate Partition) and it was fine. Then I rebooted back to Sierra and it was fine there as well. Later I opened the lid and the screen brightness was turned all the way down for some reason. I hit the brightness button and turned it back to normal and again it was fine.

But I'm wondering if anyone else has seen these anomalies with the latest beta?
