I came across a couple of these today at a garage sale and I'd really like to get one of them working as a document camera. I think there's some software I'm missing or something...
I can't find squat in regards to information on these cameras. They are VideoLabs "ScholasticCams" that used PlanetView with CU-SeeMe software....
So it's got an on/off switch, and the only output on the base is 9-pin mini-Din... the 9-pin cable that came with it splits into 4 more outputs: stereo audio (one red and one white composite), s-video (or ADB I guess), and one more for power... it also came with an s-video to composite adapter.
So, I can get a blurry unfocused image on my TV screen using the connections provided. But I want to be able to focus and hold items under this camera! I know there's got to be some sort of software interface... at least I'm hoping there is... Has anyone seen this before? Does anyone know if there's any software on the web or anywhere else that I can employ to use this camera the way I'd like to? Thanks very much for any leads at all!
