I will most certainly be picking up the new iPhone 6 and since I upgrade every year, I will probably have to shell out over 600 dollars to get the new phone.

In years past I have sold my iPhone to Gamestop for cash or to a friend which would get me around 300 cash. Which would most certainly help when buying a new phone at retail.

This year however, Gamestop offered me $180 for my device which is in excellent shape...way lower then last year, and unfortunately none of my friends want to buy my 5S. So I was exploring other online options.

Gazelle has a lock-in price for my particular model at $270 dollars and I won't need to send it until October 10th! They pay for shipping and send me a box. They pay after I ship the device. Gazelle seems to be a well known trade-in website, so I feel pretty confident.

I also found another website: UpgradeSwap.com

They will offer me $290 for my device, they will send me a box, free shipping and they even send payment via paypal before I even send the device. I also do not have to send until November 10th.

However I am a bit weary, considering I have never heard of them before.

Anyone have any experience with UpgradeSwap? They certainly seem to be a better deal.
