You will find my posts throughout this forum trying to find out as much as possible about unlimited data plans for my iPad. I am finding out that they are no longer offered by the carriers and you can only buy a grandfathered plan from someone selling one, but the cost is from one thousand dollars up to 3000. Note that I'm only talking about the plans that are un throttled after five gigs.
In my continuous quest for information, I ran across an unlimited plan for a phone and I'm wondering if this is real.
MetroPCS has a 60 dollar unlimited everything plan. Although they do not allow tethering with their unlimited plan, it still looks like a really great plan. I have an unlimited ATT plan for my iPhone that I'm grandfathered in that costs twice as much, only has 700 minutes and throttles me after I reach five gigs. Not only does it throttle me, but it throttles the rest of my family until the pay period is over. What that means is no video hardly ever on the ATT unlimited plan.
Does anyone have the MetroPCS unlimited $60 plan? Do you get throttled data past 5 gigs? Here's the deal.
