As per title really, has anyone noticed anything unusual about high RAM usage or leakages? I'd left my iMac on and unattended for about 24 hours or so and came back to it almost completely unresponsive. Pressure was in the high 80% range and kernel_task was reporting 12+ GB of usage. This seems to be something new since it's not done this at any other time on the El Cap beta. What sort of things can affect the kernel_task memory usage so I can try and track this down?

Try running "Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac" then take a System Snapshot to see what cruft is hanging about that in non-Apple.
