Ordered a 13" Macbook Air on July 26th from a campus store (Apple reseller). Upgraded to the 1.8 i7. Campus store has been saying there is some kind of manufacturing issue with the custom MBAs and that the issue is widespread. I just talked to Apple who said it should still ship in 1-3 days, but the campus store says things are still shipping within 3 days, just shipping is taking forever. Anyone recently custom order a Macbook Air and waiting a while for it? I'm still somewhat worried I might be getting the run-around.
