Anyone familiar with buyiong software on Apple.com please help

I want this software. On the link I posted, it has two options: 1. Buy now. Or 2. Download. Is the download a free version? If I hit the "Buy Now" and pay for it, will I be able to download it? If I download it, will I be promted to pay for it?

The download is just a trial which will expire after 30 days. You can download it now and buy it if you like it and then just use the serial that comes with the box if you decide to buy it
