not looking for any wet application, just dry ones.

This issue that is going to arise with the back of the iPhone 5 is that it has seams where the metal back and glass meet. For the clear films that allow dry install, this poses an adhesion problem as these 2 seams are potential lift/bubble points. This is due to the nature of the adhesive used in that type of film, which is typically a low tack self wetting silicone adhesive.

That is why the likes of SGP and Power Support, among others, have not released a protector for the back yet. We'll be testing various films as soon as we have our hands on the device, and hope to have something available to ship this week.

I'm kinda bummed no one has a bumper looking case yet either. I always liked the look. I think SGP has one coming but no date yet. Does anyone make one and ready to ship?

I have used THESE on my iPhone 4 and 4S and liked them.
