Anyone from the Bristol, TN area?

I have tickets for the spring race, and need advice as to where to stay. The hotels in Bristol all shoot up to about $300/night for the weekend, and that isn't doable. I want to look in the surrounding area but don't know what is a good choice. Advice would be appreciated!

While she's not on often anymore, you might want to PM macartistkel, who recently moved from Bristol, VA (which I know borders Bristol, TN) after living there most of her life.
