Imac is specifically stated on BB website. However, mac mini and mac studio show up on apple repair website but not BB website. I hate to go to these "select" BB locations just to be turned away. I had apple displays and reached 2 stores by phone and they said they couldn't accept them even if the BB location appeared on Apple's repair location list.

Why are you going to BB and the Geeksquad??? Find a local Apple repair shop. Alls BB will do is try to sell you a new computer, washing machine and Taylor Swift CD collections...CRAP YOU DON'T NEED. They don't care about your Mac, find a local repair shop ( Apple certified )

Yeah -- what he said. Even if you don't have an actual Apple Retail Store in your local area, there's a reasonable chance that there are repair shops around that cater to Mac owners. They don't always do as good a job as Apple would themselves... but they also don't usually charge anywhere near as much as Apple would charge, and unlike Best Buy, they are also far less likely to try to upsell you.

Good luck!

There is not a single Apple authorized repair shop in my state. Yes, seriously. I had to mail back my mbp when it developed some bad pixels and it was a huge PITA.

I would not trust the Geeksquad with any of my tech. They're hacks at best, and are more interested in selling you a new device. At least that was my experience the only time that I ever tried them (over 10 years ago).

Granted... but if we're going to go down this road: of all the reasons to distrust Geek Squad, I suppose ineptitude and profiteering are likely the least concerning. They still have a lot of reputational harm to overcome, based upon past reporting.
