Was curious how the scene is today if I wanted to go snag a new iPhone 4.

Still some lines?

I saw the news story..but that was in London..
Im in Nor.Cal. Not a very popular area..but fair...

Was curious if there was a chance i'd be turned away..
others might want this info as well.

thanks

Stopped by mine on my lunch our today. (Lehigh Valley PA Store).

There was no line, no phones in stock, but quite a few people in the store. I asked one of the girls working there how they are handling purchases\orders etc., and she told me they are putting people on a call list, in order, first come etc. They would call or e-mail you when the phones were back in stock.

At this point, with the reported issues, I think I'm waiting a month. If there really is an issue, I'm sure it will be resolved, and it will give me more time to see if I want a white or a black one. :D

Just called mine.. The lady said they still have some and if I want one to get in line in the next few minutes. I'm at work and wont be out till 3.

Not sure where your at in norcal but im in Modesto. I stopped by the last night for the hell of it and they said They will have some phones today but wouldnt give me a reservation or anything. Let me know if you have any luck I get off at 5

i went to the oak brook il apple store and there was no lines and they had a lot of phones left in stock..my iphone had a reserved sticker on the box so i got a RESERVED IPHONE LOL

Im in Folsom.. so Ima go by the roseville store...i also can go by the Arden one..

not sure how "popular" they are.. :(
but like i said I couldnt get a call in.. always 8 ahead of me..

i wont be going till like 3-4 though >_<

I just stopped by the Glendale Galleria Apple store to see if they have any cases and there's still a line.

Ingleside Mall in Holyoke MA had very few customers in the store. There were no iPhones left and none expected until sometime next week. Same story at the AT&T store, which was also deserted.

Walked into my local mall around 8:30 am and walked out by 9 am with 2 phones, that was easy.:)

did they have any cases? i know they sold out of bumpers and don't expect any till mid-July..

good luck with going to galleria in roseville. my wife and i camped for 14 hours there and were lucky enough to get within the first 20 in the walk in line and a phone when we were inside i saw the cart of walk in phones left compared to the hundreds of people probley close to 1000 people in the walk in line and theres no way they fed everyone and i dont think they got anymore shipments in today for the iphone. might want to call ahead and see if they got any before you waste a trip there.

bummer :(

anyone go by the Arden Mall Apple? haha

Altamonte Springs, FL ( near Orlando ) had long lines outside their store this afternoon, and yes they still had phones available for walk in customers.

ugh.

some stores have long lines
some no phones at all

some walk right in and grab a phone..

wish they had a site that would give live updates of which store has phones and how many people are there
