Hi all

I currently get issued a 15" from work. It's a 2018 model and is now due a replacement after 3 years. For context, I work in product management and primarily do everything via the browser (Chrome). At home I’ll be connected to two 4K displays, however I’ll be going into the office once every week or so, and should be able to connect to a screen.

In terms of the laptop, I’ve gone into the store and found the 16” to be quite thicc. Also feels quite heavy too compared to my 15”. Upon playing with the 14” though the size felt good and weighed less. I felt like the 14” screen was ok. I don’t think I could go down to the 13” however, unless my eyes were playing tricks on me, the 14” looked fine.

Obviously I couldn’t compare directly however I’d be keen to hear from those that have gone from a 15” to a 14”, and what it’s been like.

Thanks!

My late 2016 15" (first with the touchbar) is really only slightly smaller than the new 16" which I got a week ago. It's deceiving because the taper in the old models which the new does not have. It's really a negligible size difference IMO.
