If so, how is the battery life? I know it’s obviously worse, but is it enough for a full day or is it battery anxiety-inducing? I’ve seen mixed reports.

I usually spend about 70% on Apollo (Reddit) or social media with Spotify playing, 30% watching YouTube, and I do 0 gaming. Usually finish days on my 13PM with about 25-30% leftover.

I started a new job this week which requires uniform, and I’ve finally ran into the problem of my 13PM not fitting in my pocket which is why I’m strongly considering the 14P. I think I’d appreciate finally being able to use the top of the screen too, without reachability

It really does all depend on how you use your phone and how you have it set up. I went from the 13 Pro Max to the 14 Pro for similar reasons but mostly because my 13 Pro Max was too heavy and I use my phone constantly. I’m a heavy user but I employed many of the battery saving tips I’ve seen on YouTube including using black wallpaper, turning off background app refresh, always on display, haptic feedback and a number of other suggestions. I’ve not noticed any difference in the level of performance with the battery saving tips and I routinely get seven hours of screen on time with my 14 Pro with more than 40% battery left. I’d call that fantastic battery life and I don’t regret at all making the switch. Can’t say you’ll get the same results but I’m very happy with my 14 Pro.
