I guess somnething like eye TV. but I really dont need the bells and whistles (or the price tag). I've recently discovered the genius of the firewire SDK and recording TV through firewire from my cable box. But there are a lot of moving parts and if I could find a card for my G5 that has video inputs, it'd be as good if not better. Got any suggestions?

Anyone got advice on a video input card for my G5?

Everyone says the EyeTV is so expensive, but I took the dive, and I absolutely love it. I would buy another one in a second. I mean if you're going to put a hundred fifty+ into a card, you might as well get an EyeTV. The software is great, and so it the overall experience.
