Hey,

What have people got on the Christmas Wishlist's this year Apple wise?

I'm thinking about the Apple TV and the new iPod Nano. And hopefully a massive increase in my Apps sales during the Xmas period like last year :D

Post below your wishlist :)

James

I bought a new HDTV with my christmas money, a bit early but I am going to buy a new MBP after christmas for myself. Girlfriend is gunna help pay a few hundred bucks and she gets my 06' MBP.

I've never had an Apple product on my wishilist and I probably never will. Not to sound like a dick but it's too long after the iPhone comes out (6 months) and if I ever were to get an iPad, it gets refreshed around April so I would just wait until the next generation. I will never get an iPod Touch due to my iPhone and I am not a spoiled brat who asks for $1100 computers for Christmas lol. But to answer your question, nope :D!

as bad as I want one now, i'm holding out til april for a retina, dual camera, and hopefully a side port iPad :D

Can I ask why you want an iPad? I see you have a Macbook Pro and an iPhone 4 and I'm in that situation and I am wondering why because I don't see the need given those 2.

nothing :apple: really this xmas...
what's your app?

Links are in my signature, it would be cool if you checked them out.

I'm thinking about selling Aperture and wiping out Mac OS X from my 27" iMac and make it a Windows 7 and Ubuntu only system.

So my wishlist would be an Apple system without all the BS.

Piss off and stop trolling the Apple forums if you hate Apple so much. You've made your views clear to all the regulars, now go.

I'm thinking on getting my gran an iPad. Her XP box I bought her 6 years ago is dead, and it was defiantly wasted on her when I got it. She needs something simpler. I've got the feeling she'll enjoy using an iPad.

I did have a 13" MBP on my wishlist because I thought my 3 year old MBP was on it's way out. Fortunately, Apple fixed it for free. So the only thing I have on my wishlist is Apple TV.

Isn't your grandmother going to need some sort of computer with iTunes for syncing/restoring/backup? Not that it's absolutely necessary for the iPad, which IMHO is possibly the only iDevice I would consider able to be a "standalone" unit in select situations. (Even so, I'd still sync it to something if I had one.)

I received an unexpected bonus this month, so I gifted myself a 13" MBP.

My wife has an iPad on her wishlist, hoping that I'll pick up on the none to subtle hints, she typically warms up and says " honey, I WANT AN IPAD FOR CHRISTMAS" :D

To each his own, but the more I used my core i7 in windows 7, the more I missed how OSX does things. At first blush, I found win7 to have a lot of Mac like features, which it does, but the basic design and architecture is still windows. For instance, I love how OSX uses a container type for applications and they go into the applications folder. Windows uses the start button/program menu that still becomes unwieldy.

Like I said, different strokes for different folks but I enjoy the Mac/OSX experience and the apps are more aligned to how I like to work

As much as I want to wait until April, I'm going to get my mom and sister an iPad this xmas. It wouldn't be the same giving them a Xmas gift in April.
