Anyone had this happen with the Showcase for iPhone? (broken top clasp)

It's now impossible for the case to close securely.

I've emailed Contour in hopes of getting a replacement. Does anyone know how generous they are with this sort of thing?

Haven't had this happen but I have a couple of questions since you are a user...

Does yours have gaps on the sides or back near the hinge points?
Is the little nub area that broke cut at an angle?

I only ask because I really like the case and actually bought one last week that I promptly took back right after buying because it had many gaps and the top clasp was cut at an odd angle, it looked like it should have been straight but it wasn't.

I had the same thing happen to me. I switched to the Agent18 and have never looked back.

I suspect mine was from the constant removal that I was doing in order to clean the screen. Dust particles tended to get under the plastic portions at the top and bottom.

I had mine for 4 or 5 months before it happened. I didn't bother to contact them, so I couldn't comment on their response.
