The creative dept where I work is just about ready to update all the mac hardware for the designers. The dept head is interested in 5k monitors to pair with the MacBook Pro's. The LG display that Apple sells appears to be a hit or miss option. Is anyone using a 5k display, 27" or larger with their MacBook Pro that's working well for them?

I do think a 15 inch would drive it better though. Sometimes it can feel like the macbook is a bit weak for the display (e.g lots of programs open and desktop space switching)
