My ipod touch 3 has a serious battery problem recently. It discharges automatically. I get it full charged last night and close the machine, but when i open it in the next morning and always found that the battery level was low. Even if the ipod is closed, the battery is running pretty low.

This would shorten my battery's life. I've never change any setting on it. I don't know why. Anyone could help me??

Make sure that you turn WiFi off before you go to bed, and close any non-essential apps from the multitasking panel.

I've found that the advice you were just given, especially about the WiFi is the best advice. Until I started turning off my WiFi, every morning I had to recharge my device.
