I've just been introduced to the option of viewing my internal temperatures of everything and was wondering how to read it... meaning, what's good and what's bad. Is there any guide out there that's easy for beginners to understand and doesn't go into TOO MUCH detail about everything, yet still dives into enough detail so that one feels they have enough knowledge to judge the health of their internal components?

Simply put it doesn't matter.

Apple's basic fan control should in theory be fine, if its not then there is something wrong.

Basics are that HDs shouldn't be above 50C and the CPU shouldn't be above 100C (core temp).

Other than that no need to worry, there isn't anything really to 'know'
