I'm in the process of formatting a few pictures for use as wallpaper on my iPad Air, which is currently running the public version of 7.1. Unfortunately, Apple has either changed the correct resolution for iPad parallax wallpapers in 7.1, or has introduced a new bug preventing them from working correctly. I describe the problem more fully in this thread. Basically, no matter what size image I use, the iPad stretches the image when rotated into landscape mode rather than showing additional parts of the image. This leads to the wallpaper looking blurry in landscape.
I know from this post over at iClarified that the default wallpapers were sized at 2524x2524 in iOS 7.0. This was the size I had been using for my own wallpapers. However, since I am not jailbroken, I can't tell if the correct size has been changed in 7.1, or if this is just another lovely bug in iOS 7. The default wallpapers still behave correctly in 7.1 BTW. It's only if I try to use one of my own images that the stretching occurs.
Could someone with a retina iPad (3, 4, Air, or rMini) that is still jb on 7.1b3 take a moment to access the default wallpapers via iFile or SSH? I don't remember the directory. All I need to know is if the wallpapers are still sized at 2524x2524 or if the dimensions have changed.
Thanks in advance!
