When Sony released a DSLR, they charged more money for lenses than any other brand out there. They took a number of old Minolta lens designs, rebadged them, and sold them for 20-50% more than the Nikon/Canon/Pentax equivalent. I don't see this changing anytime soon. It's Sony. :eek:


If anything, I'd wait to see what Nikon releases. They're close to releasing something awesome, and it may be worthwhile to consider one along with the Olympus Pen and whatever Panasonic has on the market. :)

Thanks, I may wait and see what Nikon offers but I really dont like Olympus I had a camera from them like 9 years ago and the thing was horrible, it was extremely hard to use and the quality was pretty bad. As for Nikon I dont like their compact cameras but my dad has a DSLR and thats nice.
