Continuing exploration of copiers and scanners. Want scanner for B&W and color photos, and for 35mm color slides (no negatives). Epson V39 appears compact and highly affordable. Brief internet review nebulous about whether it does or does not support 35mm slide digitizing. Anyone use one? Thanks!

It's not nebulous: the Epson V39 does not scan slides. The Epson V600 does.

May I suggest you look into slide/photo digitizing services? Both locally and online? You might find, as I did, that it makes sense to have a professional scan your photos and slides as the resolution you require.

Epson V39 does not scan slides. I agree that you should strongly consider a professional digitizing service, as I have tried on other scanners and I assure you that the time, effort and tired eyes are not worth it.
