I have an AWU1 that still has 100% battery capacity. Excellent watch. The watch seems like it will last and work well for several more years.

I’ve seen more of the black version out and about, and I like the looks of it as well. It actually looks great with both dark suits and casual wear. I know it seems dumb but thinking about adding it with the AW3 version. I may trade in a Series 7… or I may not

just trade both the 7 and the UI and get the U3. I know you want to but feel hesitant.

Too much invested in the AWU1, including titanium band. And they are legitimately different looks. Bad financial decision to keep both, I know.

Just curious, it's almost 3 years and your health is still 100%? How did you managed that? Do you wear it everyday and do workout?

My Ultra1 is currently at 86%, going to upgrade it to Ultra3 next month.

Same here and same question to the OP. I use my U1 24/7 and in the same timeframe as yourself I’m at 89% but will upgrade this year to the U3.

Just checked this morning - battery capacity still says 100%. I use my Apple Watch Ultra most days - but not every day. I have other watches (including Apple Watches) that I wear sometimes. I also generally don’t sleep with my Apple Watch on. I only recently began to use sleep tracking, and I use my Series 7 or 9 for that. I workout every day and track with the AWU. But sometimes I will switch out after. For example, yesterday I worked out at 6 AM with the ultra on, then took the watch off and put on a mechanical watch for the rest of the day.

I would stick with the Ultra 1 and if the Ultra 3 is offered in black, get that. I get the temptation but, I think you would end up regretting getting the black U2 and it will sit around not getting used like you thought.

No, I’m definitely not getting an AW2 at this point

Hm.. I read too fast and missed the 100% battery capacity on the U3. If that's the case, I would keep both and not trade it in unless there is a major offering from Apple. You are not going to get top dollars for the watch and you will feel bad afterwards.

Have an awu1 in titanium with the titanium band and have an awu2 in black with the same band in black. All of my other aw’s are gone and I don’t miss them a bit. My battery life is at 95% and 90% respectively.

I really enjoy having the 2 awu’s as I wear them 24/7. Nice to have them both when one is charging, although the charge time does not take long. I use the watches for all the stated features and then some. For instance my alarm system will notify me when someone comes to the house and the watch will alert me and show a pic. Love this feature.

It’s nice to have a choice depending on my mood and fashion for the day. I also use the watches a lot to answer the phone and check voicemail. Given my heavy usage I only get about 3 days of battery life. With two of them no fuss, just switch to the other.

I’m waiting to see what new features, if any, are coming to the awu3. Longer battery life would be nice. If they bring any significant upgrades in the health area I will be ecstatic. I will DEFINETELY upgrade if that’s the case as due to certain health conditions I have, the watch is a deduction.

Wish you luck in your decision and suggest you wait for the awu3. If you do that route treat yourself to a nice band. I can’t say enough how wonderful the Milanese bands are. By far the most comfortable bands on a watch I have ever owned, almost makes you feel like the watch is not there, and that is saying alot given the size of the awu’s.
