anyone have experience with battery replacement at either of the two Apple Stores in Raleigh/Durahm?

my MIL has a 14 Pro Max and the battery health is now at 60%. she does have AppleCare, so the support app shows the battery replacement as free. She is in the Raleigh/Durham area visiting family until the end of this month.

The Apple support app shows both Apple Stores in the area with lots of open appointment times. Is one better than the other for a simple battery replacement? She's staying with her family near RDU airport and driving time to either store is the same(about 15 minutes)

The app actually also showed Best Buy as another option, but I told her not to go there. Best Buy broke my phone's screen when they were replacing the battery in my iPhone last year. If I didn't happen to have pictures of the front and back of the phone in perfect condition at time of drop-off, they were going to blame the cracked screen on me.

Thanks!

Doesn’t make a difference as there’s a number of technicians employed by each so you will never know which one, if any, would be better on the day.

I’ve had battery replacements carried out on an OGSE and 6S from one Apple Store and a further battery replacement on an 8 from a completely separate store. No issues with either store, both were brilliant.

good point... was just reading the news about a Florida(?) hospital where the surgeon removed the patient's LIVER instead of SPLEEN by "mistake"(resulting in the patient's death)

or that time when I bought my very first brand-new Mercedes many years ago. When I went back for the first free 1000-mile oil service, the Mercedes technician left a magnetic pick-up tool near the engine.(which could have easily fallen into the belt pulley(near the harmonic balancer).... as well as "forgot" to reinstall a 2-foot x 3-foot plastic cover under the oil pan. The dealership offered me a $50 parts/accessories gift card as a goodwill gesture, but I never went back to them again. :)

Any technician opening upon iPhone can break it - no matter where they work. The risk is always there. Its not too common but it definitely happens sometimes.
Blame the glue.
