Anyone have experience with doing a color/capacity exchange?

I got two black iPhone 5 but am considering a color exchange on one. But two things have me worried. Best Buy and Sprint. So im curious if anyone out here has experience on doing a simple color swap. Does it handle just like a product exchange or does it involve the workers tapping into your cellular account again (and potentially screwing things up like they tend to do).

And while we're at it, anyone do a color exchange and feel better about switching? Im really on the fence since both look great.
