anyone have success getting early upgrade?

So I bought my 4s last January and talked to an apple employee and he said I should just call verizon to try to get an early upgrade. Has anyone had success with this? If so, what did you say on the phone to try to get an early upgrade? I might just call several times with different people and see if someone will budge.

early upgrade

I wasn't eligible for an upgrade until December and they let me upgrade early. Mine is coming in the mail tomorrow. You have a little more left on your contact than i, but it is definitely worth it to call and ask...

My GF was eligible for an "Early Upgrade", which meant $450 for the iPhone 5 16GB.
