I've read online that if you charge the macbook pro from the left side thunderbolt 3 ports that it will throttle the CPU and start to heat up whereas if you use the right side chargers this does not occur. My question is, has macOS big sur fixed this issue??
Does anyone know if this issue happens to all macbook pros from 2016 and beyond? Mine in a 2017 macbook pro 15 inch so I think my mac is affected by this issue.
Does anyone know if Big Sur or any other updates have patched/fixed this issue? It seems around april 2020 I began seeing articles about this issue popping up left and right and I'm wondering if apple has addressed it? It's not a huge issue as I can just use the right side chargers but it does remove a bit of the convenience (being able to charge from either side)
