If you happen to have TransType Pro font conversion software, I'm hoping you'll do me a favor. I need to convert an OpenType font to a Type 1 Postscript font. I downloaded the free demo, but it creates fonts that are distorted and not suitable for use. I'm too cheap to pay the $180 for the full version.

Anyone have the Pro version and willing to help a design guy out?

Problem Solved

Thankfully, I was provided a tip at another forum from Mike (at www.sketchpad.net) -- by loading the font inTO the Mac System Folder instead of activating it through Suitcase, I am able to use the Open Type font in Illustrator. Yippee!

You have asked other members of this forum to help you pirate software. No discussion of software piracy is permitted.

I disagree. He's asking somebody who already owns the software to convert something for him. I see no harm in that. It's no different to the many threads where people ask others to touch up images for them in Photoshop.
