For the past 3 days GMAIL seems to not be fetching my mail, which
ultimately gets spam filtered and sent to my iPhone.

Anyone else experiencing problems?

Ive had problems with gmail since i got my iphone. When ever i send an e-mail i get a copy of it.

That's not really a problem. There are tons of discussion on this topic, even on Apple Discussion. By default you have RECENT mode on and that's what happens. You can turn off RECENT mode in Advanced screen in Gmail on iPhone setup but I can't remember what the downside is for doing this since I haven't done it myself.

I haven't had any problems with Gmail. So I should consider myself lucky

I know but if i turn recent off, my mac gets my mail before my iphone, so i never get any thing on the iphone.

Yes, after the update to 1.1.1. the phone does not seem to be receiving messages like it used too. Now almost the only time I will get messages is if I go to Mail and it begins to check. With 1.0.2 and earlier, mail would auto check like i have it set to do every 15 minutes. Makes me a little mad...

Have been having problems with Gmail since IMAP implemented

Yes, am having problems with Gmail, but on my Mac not the iPhone. On my Mac, when I first start the mail program, it checks Gmail's server. However, when I attempt to manually check for mail, or when the Apple Mail client does, it doesn't appear to see the Gmail server.

I find I must restart the mali client to get it to check for mail. It appears that the server isn't seen again by Apple Mail when it rechecks for messages. My other email servers, AOL and my ISP account seem to be recognized by Apple Mail just dandily.
