I have a 2024 Mac mini m4, running sequoia 15.6. Final Fantasy XIV runs pretty well on the machine using the mouse and keyboard. However, I want to use a game controller. I purchased the Abxylute C5P, which says it has mac support. Unfortunately, connected via bluetooth, my mac only sees it as "abxy gamepad", and otherwise ignores it. The gamepad does not appear to function and is not even seen as a device in the FF XIV config. This controller works fine on my son's windows PC. Any suggestions?

I've thought about getting a controller. I found this manual online. Are you using the proper pairing method?

Have you tried it wired or with the wifi dongle?

Thank you! I feel so stupid. If the controller came with instructions they must have been lost immediately after I opened the box. I had also looked for the manual online and did not find it, but I did not think to look on amazon. Good job. The controller is set up now and working on my mac. This controller can present itself to other devices as any of a number of different controllers: ie. xbox, playstation, nintendo, etc. When it comes to gaming I am an old luddite, so I did not know. Thanks again.
