So i have a Black Magic Design Ultra Studio Mini Recorder that i use on my 27" iMac, It connects via Thunderbolt and it has been working great for me until i upgraded last night.

I record videos using QuickTime Player, I usually open up QuickTime, Record new movie and then from the drop down i am able to select the Mini Recorder as a capture device and record a video. I use my Sony HDR-CX150 camcorder and its plugged into the mini recorder via HDMI and pretty much acts as a capture card.

Anyways, It was working great up until i upgraded to Yosemite last night. Now when i go into Quicktime Player, The option for the mini recorder under video capture device is no longer there ( though i notice i can select it as a audio device for audio, Just not video )

I asked over on the BlackMagic forum but no word yet ( others are having issues with some of there other products also )

I am just curious has anyone else had any problems since you upgraded? and if so, Have you found a fix?

I would really hate to return this mini recorder to Amazon since it has been working so great.
